InvoKeeper exists for a specific person: the solo founder, freelancer, or small-business owner who's really good at their actual work, and constantly losing time to the admin around it.
The story
Existing invoicing tools fall into two camps. Either they're bloated accounting suites built for bookkeepers (the QuickBooks, Xero crowd): overkill, expensive, and UI from a decade ago. Or they're cobbled-together Word templates and PDF exports that make professional work look amateur.
We wanted something tighter. Something built around one job: send a clean invoice, get paid quickly. Not bookkeeping. Not project management. Not CRM. Just the part that turns work into money.
InvoKeeper is that. Three polished templates. Stripe payment links so clients can pay with one click. A real history of what you've sent and who's paid. Replies that go to your inbox, not ours. No per-invoice fees. No vendor lock-in.
Who builds this
InvoKeeper is built by Durham Tech LLC, a small independent operation. Solo dev, shipping fast, no investors leaning on the roadmap. That means we can prioritize features users actually ask for instead of whatever the next funding round needs us to chase.
What we don't do
- We don't touch your money.Stripe payouts go directly to your Stripe account. We're never an intermediary.
- We don't mark up payment fees.You pay Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + $0.30 for cards). We add nothing.
- We don't sell your data. Your client list, your invoices, your communications: yours. Never resold, never used to train anything.
- We don't lock you in. Every invoice you create is downloadable as a PDF you own. Cancel any time without losing access to your history.
